Damien is from Manchester in England but now lives in Prague, having visited more than 20 countries over the years, often just for the sake of it. His three main passions are writing, live music, and travel and as a result is in the process of writing a book detailing the silly escapades he has been involved in over the years while traveling to gigs. He is also writing a novel, and was the founder of the Prague Writers Group when he started looking for people to help motivate him to get out of the bar and concentrate on what he should be doing. As a day job he is a freelance proof-reader, where he suffers from severe procrastination issues!

Sonya Lano left for Prague when her cat died, her car was totalled, her boyfriend dumped her and her soul was empty (breakups will do that to a person). Prague attracted her because she'd heard beer could drown all sorrow, and apparently it did, because she recuperated. She mainly writes novels (fantasy / historical romance, romantic suspense) and short stories, though she has some straggling poetry from that tortured period of her life called high school and college. She writes mainly for fun. And she loves her cats and her writing group!

Philip Prentis is a computer scientist who occasionally likes to write short stories in his free time. Some are funny, some are innocent, some are bloody and some are... well, just plain nasty. Apart from writing stories, he is also enthusiastic about fencing and throwing knives and axes. Also, wearing hats.
